The bottom line is NEVER give any company a deposit on something you aren't buying right away. That was the mistake - we placed a deposit and did not buy right away.
So, to Bull - I have had a deposit with them for over 4 years as of 2010. Granted the policy is no refunds but still - 4 years is a long time for them to have my money.
I politely asked if there was any way to get a refund, and the answer was a flat NO, no way. I would be willing to take less even, but still the answer is no.
Therefore, I urge anyone reading this to boycott Bull Outdoor Products. None of my friends will ever buy from them, and you can be I'll be the one at the next home show directing people AWAY from their booth. I already know I will cost them more then the deposit is worth, so the he11 with them....
