Camper Depot Inc Individuals. Al Blackwell, Larry Pierce, Edwin J. Wright Kept the 2500.00 we put down as a deposit Punta Gorda Florida

After reading the ripoff complaints I realize we are just one among many. Our deposit of 2500.00 wasn't returned and not even portion of it. On 3/14/15 we left 2500.00 deposit in hopes of purchasing a  2014 Forest River travel trailer. purchase price of 23,398.44 realizng my credit wasn't the best, but we figured what the hell, lets give it a try.  On 3/18/15 we were called by Ed and told that a bank would only allow us 15,000.00 and to come down and look at 4 trailers that might work for us.  We did and I saw a 2016 SunRay 199 for 17995.00 we asked Ed to see what he could do, and I informed him we have no more money for down payment. I signed 2 empty purchase orders so he might work some miracle. Big Mistake, no Huge Mistake. On 3/25/15 we were called and told we got the financing and went to Camper Depot, once getting there we were told they needed an additional 1645.00 to close the deal. I told them no way, and reminded him that I had told him we have no more money for down payment. I asked for my deposit back and wanted to leave.  I was told by Al Blackwell that I wasn't going to get my deposit back. They keep it for all the work that they have done, which leaves me to wonder what the heck they did that cost 2500.00 if they kept 500.00 I probably wouldn't have felt so raped. They had no business adding an additional amount to the down payment after my telling them we didn't have it. OK I did sign the 2 empty contracts not realizing these people are theives. I believe in what goes around comes around I certaintly hope it is true, especially when it comes to Al Blackwell and Edwin Wright
