Don't do business with these people. They will tell you whatever they need to sell a RV With no intent on following through on their commitment.

Here is my experience:

I had decided to buy a travel trailer and see the country. With no experience I knew I was succeptable to being scammed. So I did a lot of research on price of models that fit our needs. We found a trailer that was properly priced for the year and make/options. We were not looking for a cut rate rig or a bargain basement deal. 13000 for a 2007 25 footer (in March of 2013) should buy a decent trailer.

We arrived at the dealer and talked to Bill a sales agent. He showed us around and eventually the trailer we had asked about. The trailer inside looked fine with a moderate amount of wear. Bill told us about a "small" leak that had happened around the roof vent but assured us that it had been fixed. We noticed that the front end/nose (outside) was wavey and asked about it. Bill informed us that all trailers do that after they have been exposed to the heat. I asked to see the roof and Bill looked around for a latter but couldn't find one. He again assured us the roof was fine and that the service dept would do a full inspection before delivery. Being new to this process and thinking about how the car dealership industry worked we thought ok they will be liable for any problems with the roof. (Foolishly!) We paid the deposit.

Two days before we picked up the RV and were schedule to start our trip we got the call.

This is a summary of that conversation:

The service department has found a problem with the roof but the dealership will replace it. A whole new roof!!!! Yes a brand new roof!! Rubber structures everything!!!! Yes. We have a problem though we are supposed to be half way across the country before we can have the work done. No problem we have a dealership in the area which is directly across the street from the factory. We will have the factory manufacture a new roof and have the dealership install it. Wow great.

We decided to go ahead purchase the trailer. Huge mistake!!! We spent the next three months and countless phonecalls dumped to voicemail with no call backs. We tried customer service reps, managers and finally the district manager. All just trying to get the work done. After a hellish three months we were told the factory couldn't manufacture the roof. Which we had to call the factory directly to figure out. Who knows how long the dealership would have tried to keep the charade going.

We later learned from an inspector that the roof was completely ruined. I got on a latter next to him and was shocked to see the extent of damage he mapped out for me. The roof was so bad I could have put my fingers through the roof into the interior of the trailer itself.

At this point we wanted our money back. Tom the district manager informed us  that was not an option. He said he could buy the RV back for $10000 and that was being generous or give us $13000 on a trade in. We thought about the trade in but with the models he gave and the prices asked we calculated they would make 5-10k $ more.

We took the $3000 loss. They lost a customer and I will strongly advise anyone to stear clear of them.
