On Feb 10, 2006 I called Campus TV about my television because the coloring in the picture was looking like an old technicolor movie. They sent a person to pick my television up the next day. On Aug 30th was the first phone Mr Joseph Laglin reported to me that the tv would be too expensive to repair and I was better off getting a new one. When I inquired to the price he told me $500. The TV cost me $1200 to buy it so I said go ahead and fix it. He said "ok" In between his call to me I had called the company on the following dates: Feb 17 & 25th, March 11, April 3 & 28th and my last call was May 17, 2006. STILL NO TV. I had been told on those dates anything from, we haven't gotten to it yet, we are waiting on parts, we got some parts but they weren't the right parts, the person repairing your set is on vacation.

Finally I got fed up so I went to court to file a small claims. I was sent to a mediator on July 28th 2006. In the mediation he claimed he had told me the tv wasn't worth repairing and it would be too expensive. I told him he has no clue what my financial situation is so he doesn't dictate what's too expensive for me. Either he can fix it or he can't. The resolution we came up with was, he had 30 days to find me a TV comparable to mine (he had broken my tv beyond repair, it no longer turned on, it was just a big 42" paperweight at this point) for the original price he quoted me for repairs, $500. Before delivery was to be made I was to come down and approve of the tv he had chosen then he was to deliver it and then and only then would I pay him the monies owed. This case was dismissed without prejudice because of the mediation agreement. Months go by no word so I went back to court and filed again for a small claims.

June 8th 2007 was the hearings date with the Magistrate. She ruled in my favor for the amount of $603. $570 for damages $33.50 for costs. He filed an appeal of this judgement which took me back to cour to see the Judge on July 10th 2007. The Judge also ruled in my favor but he reduced my judgement to $403.50. $370 for damages and 33.50 for court costs.

On Aug 6th 2007 I went back to court again because Mr Laglin refused to pay the judgment, to file a request to seize property form. The judge signed it and as of today which is Dec 9th, 2007 I have yet to receive anything. I am out of a tv and have nothing to show for it.

The court docket no. for the above cases are as follows:

DC1-06-0001437 for the initial mediated date.
DC1-07-0000976 for the date with the magistrate and the judge.
