Carina Rao Stolen commercial rent money, fair trade violations, deceptive practices Hellertown, Pennsylvania

My partner and myself leased a commercial space at 410 Main Street in Hellertown PA 18055. Paid the first months rent $700 and a security deposit of $700 as well. We moved our office, CLEANED THE ENTIRE SPACE, and then called the local zoning officer to make sure the space was up to code. Upon his inspection he noted that the commercial property  was missing emergency lighting and exit signs. We notified Carina Rao of the Hellertown Code Violation. She instantly cut us off and said if we don't pay her electrician to have the sign installed at our expense we need to move out within 24 hours. Carina hung up the phone and then refused to take calls.

We tried calling Carina our LANDLORD and she refused to take the call. We emailed her and even offered to split the cost of the sign. She refused told us she didn't like us and we need to vacate the property within 24 hours.

My partner and myself agreed to just leave an avoid further problems. We kept e-mailing and calling Carina to get our $1400 back and she said "I'm busy we'll talk later." Later when we called she said "I don't like you or your e-mails and don't talk to me anymore. Now my partner and myself are out $1,400 and need to move our office at our expense.
