Carmen Auto, Aurora Colorado an independently owned Saturn Specialist owned by Mehran Sarfaraz was reported to owe Zap Media, a professional and custom web development firm based in Denver Colorado for web services. Throughout our investigation it was determined that not only business to business clients but clients that received car repair from this auto repair specialist' were dissatisfied and even possible over charged for parts and service not even needed.

Access News Group is sending in an undercover client to reveal if this business is hot or not. From client complaints and even stiffing a well known web development and business consulting firm, Carmen Auto could be in fact dealing some shady business.

A letter from Mehran Sarfaraz to the Michael Law Group said the following:
(Note: The below letter is Exactly how it was written. Grammar and Spelling Errors alike.)

We have received a letter regarding the collection. I was trying to find your company listing in a directory book and I could not find it or no phone number to contact. We never had any written or verbal agreement with Access News Group so there was not any contract between us.

Anyone with little knowledge about law should know there must be always a signed contract between two parties. I was agreed to accept the services with ANG only if I approve the design and only if the charges would be the same as the previous provider. -------- Name left out for security purposes ----- had a very unprofessional manner to finish our work the whole time.

First of all he wanted to do the design as simplest as before. He violate the first role of the business which is customer is always right and job has to be done the way customer want. Second of all he knew many times I am out of the office but each time he just drop by without having an appointment. Third of all he billed us for the entire job before he finishes it the way we want it. At last at the sight he blocked it from viewing. If you and your client make any damages to our credit I will take you to the court and you have to pay for all the cost and damages. I will prove to the court that your claim has no basis.

(End of letter)

First off, this letter is completely irreverent to the actual facts. Zap Media is known for its professional web sites. Zap Media created a dynamic optimized content management base site. Anyone with any web knowlage knows this generally takes about 15 hours to complete minimum and can range from $5,000 to $15,000. The first website was presented to Mehran. He said he did not want it and wanted something similar to their old website. (The old website looked like a 3rd grader put it together in a word document. No offense 3rd graders.) Zap Media then once again re designed the website to the requested specifications. Once again the owner of Carmen Auto, Aurora Co changed his mind. Zap Media was kind enough to extend one more website development to Carmen Auto. Once the 3rd web site was developed (Keep in mind no money has been provided for the work, and already the work load had exceeded 10 hours.) The owner had some liking of the site but requested some graphic work that in its own would exceed 3 hours.

Finally the Zap Media developer advised Mr. Sarfaraz he could not continue to do work unless he paid of the quoted price up front.

About a week later Zap Media was contacted by Peyman Mottaghi, Vice President of Carmen Auto who said he took over the web project and he wanted to talk to someone about once again re developing' the website to his standards not Mr. Sarfaraz because all along he did not like the suggestions that Mr. Sarfaraz, was requesting.

The Zap Media Developer once again visited with Payman Mottaghi in hope of some payment arrangements. Mr. Mottaghi purposed a website that would take nearly 15 hours of web development and another 5 hours in graphic design and said he would pay once the job was Complete to satisfaction.

The Zap Media agent advised Mr. Mottaghi that is fine but he would need to be paid for the job already requested by Mr. Sarfaraz.

Mr. Mottaghi refused to pay, thus further action was required.

At this time Zap Media agreed not to turn Carmen Auto over to a collection agency but have disabled their website www.accesssaturn.com because of non payment. Access News Corporation has issued an investigation of false business practice and past consumer complaints.
