Carnes Motor Company SCAMMERS!! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! BOOTLEG CARS!! South Houston, Texas

Had I read this as well as the BBB report, I would still have thousands of dollars in my pocket! I bought a used lexus rx 300 from these jokers on 09/09/11 and 3 days later, it no longer worked. I called them and was advised by Walter, to tow the car back in at my expense. I did so, and was then advised that they would "take care of it". A few days later after I heard nothing from anyone, I called back to see when my car would be ready and was then put on hold for an extended period of time. I called back a few more times and Elizabeth put me on hold saying Walter was busy and would get to me when he could. He never did, and no one ever came back to the line. I drove  to the dealership and was surprised to see, he was not busy at all. He advised me that my vehicles transmission was gone out but that he was pretty sure it was just something electrical. He pointed out that it was sold "as is". I advised him that I knew that but in 3 days, they had to know the tranny was no good. He said nothing, just a blank stare. I towed the car again, at my expense to a transmission shop and after breaking it down, the transmission is gone!! 2600.00 in repairs for a car I had for 3 days!!!! Not only are they liars, but they are fraud and nice only until you drive off in their bootleg vehicles, then nobody wants to take your calls or anything else!! Well, Walter, Elizabeth and every other rfaud person there knows they sold me a car that had transmission problems and they failed to disclose that to me to sell the piece of junk that I have. I plan to contact the attorney generals office here in texas, the department of motor vehicles, the BBB and also file a claim under the deceptive trade act. Something has to be done about this type business and their actions!!
