After many years of living in Casey’s home on (((REDACTED))), where I paid out of picket for thousands of dollars in repairs Casey finally forced me out of my home. I sent my landlord of the home I rented for 4 years photos every months of issues in his home that he never would take care of. From black mold in my kitchen to 2 years of no heat to flooded garage and laundry area with black mold. Termites in a deck that was falling apart, a toilet that leaked fesses all over for a week. I paid thousands of dollars at this home not once getting paid back. Even bought a washer and dryer that was shared by the neighbors, where I was charged for their use of the electricity as well. Never once got reimbursement.

Finally, one day I see people at my door on my security camera looking in and my dog barking in a panic. Then people were in my yard taking photos or photos while passing by the house. I asked Casey if he was selling the house, I got no answer.  Finally, after numerous attempts to get answers he said he was selling all 3 units in a row, my girlfriend and agent verified the house had already been on the market for months and he didn’t want to tell any of the 3 tenants, I have all the notes, screen shots and emails.

I asked when I had to be out, and he said as soon as possible he has an offer on the property. I spoke the neighbors they were shocked as well, no notice and worse no reimbursement for the thousands for dollars I out into his home that he now thought was in great shape to sell as my home was the flagship for the other 2. I stared looking for place as fast as possible and packing up in a panic all while he was showing the house daily and interrupting my schedule. I soon realized the house had more serios issues than the ones I fixed, and he was having trouble closing any escrows. At this time none of the other renters in his homes next to me were not looking to move or thinking about it, I found this bizarre.

I stopped paying the rent knowing something was wrong and seeing I was never going to be reimbursed. I then decide I should move before being out on the street. Casey then told me if I could leave soon so he could fix the house to be sellable we could both move on from past rent or reimbursement, I thought this was our settlement, so I did only to find out he moved into the house and took it off the market. Forcing me out to avoid rent control while fixing all the major issues Landlords would have been sued for. Leaving out a huge string on my dog and myself as well as my work. Now Casey is trying to sue me after all this for the back rent. He has done so many illegal acts as a landlord not to mention been unethical. I will be filing legal action against him.
