CASHNET Legal Threat and Attempted Fleecing Www.cashnet.com internet

Received an astonishing phone call this morning, two to be factual- the second one I answered. A genetleman with a thick Indian dialiect asked for me and then preceded to give me a case number and phone number charging me with Internet fraud and Violation of banking laws.

After asking him to repeat his charge, I was told I could not ask any question until he finished the charge information and then started indicating a payment of $640.00 dollars would disolve this charge today.

Startled, I asked him who was charging these allogations, after indicating he only had my file on the table and started giving me some personal information, an indicating my IPS address had been recorded. I demanded to know what company was making this charge. He indicated "Cashcall" was the plaintiff. I asked how much the company said I received in a loan. He could not give me that information, but again said $640.00 would solve the account.

I was rather forcefull but very clear that no such action had taken place. Nor had Cashcall ever completed or offered a loan. I had searched the internet for possible payday loans, but that none were ever completed. It would stand to reason any request inquiry I made for a loan would provide my IPS address to the potiential provider.

I then indicated, no payment would be made and that if Cashcall were charging me and taking me to court then the proper paperwork would need to filed and sent to me. I was very capable of proving that no such action ever took place and end the call.

This is clearly an attempt to frighten me using legal jargon and the fear of breaking federal laws in order to try and get me to pay money up front and find a lawyer afterwards!
