CCD Research, LLC Global Vacation Network Offered free gifts that were never received. Holly Hill Florida

 I received an invitation from CCD Research, LLC, via US mail, that offered a free tablet in return for a review of the product. I called the number required and found im order to obtain the tablet I would have to attend a 90 minutes presentation. I agreed and was told I would receive the tablet there. I called the number from the email I received from Global Travel to also confirm the appointment and was told, for my trouble, I would receive a bonus gift of a digital camera.

The 90 minute presentation led to 2 hours and was all sales. We saw a box of tablets with the receptionist but decided since we did not buy we weren't "special." We were given a certificate to another website, www.simplyfreegifts.com. Here we were to register the product codes from the certificate, print a letter from them, sign and mail back. So far, not good.

I never received the items and both the CCD site and SimplyFreeGifts site are "under construction."

I called to find out any info and was told I did not send a photo ID. I showed my photo ID at the presentation of which they took a copy, what's the problem. The representative with CCD and the one, Lydia, from Global Travel were exceedingly rude! Funny, Lydia was sweet as pie until I inquired about the free gifts and it was she who excitedly offered the digital camera when I called to confirm.

Terrible scam! Don't fall for it.
