I changed my auto insurance in NJ.  I had to send my new insurance policy declaration pages to the old company (Liberty Mutual).  They didn't get it in time and turned it over to CCS to collect a debt.  I mailed and faxed the declaration pages at least 2 times to CCS and I stilled received phone calls.  The last set of calls from CCS said I could only mail the documents to CCS.  Then another call that night said I couldn't use the documents on-line and mail them I had to get them directly from Geico.  I contacted Geico got a 3-way call set up with CCS and Geico.  Geico faxed the documents that I was told I had to mail.  When asked CCS said it was preferred to get it by mail not mandatory so the rules depends on who is on the phone.  The forms Geico faxed were also emailed to me.  These were the same forms I've mailed and faxed in the past that weren't the right document.  I was told the documents I got on-line weren't the same document.  The only difference between the on-line documents and what was faxed was the Fax machine and the printer that printed it off.  I guess I needed special ink and paper I couldn't see to send the documents.  I asked for a call from CCS when they got the documents but they will only call when they want money from you.  Other than that they don't care to talk to you so I need to call them to make sure the documents are there.  I suggest you call to make sure they get the documents since my experience is they lose things.



In closing the best thing I can say if you cancel a policy with Liberty Mutual Insurance, be ready to send paper work numerous times between the insurance and the collection company.  Because they don't how to deal with rejection.
