I admit it. I'm one of the people who rarely read the fine print. I was sucked into an informercial for this product and ordered the trial bottles over the internet. Did not see or read where after the initial 14 day trial period, I would be charged the full amount for the product, which is apparently over $90 a bottle.
And I didn't realize when exactly the 14 day trial period was up. No email arrived asking did I want to continue. So apparently, after the 14 days, I was charged a total of $208 for two bottles of pills. And within two weeks, another charge for the next month's shipment. Sadly, I did not check my VISA statement during the month, so imagine my shock when the statement arrived with $400 worth of pills charged to my account. In one month. Within one billing cycle.
I had at some point received an email from CD stating the next shipment would be arriving. At the time, my father in law was in the hospital and I did not even see the email. The package did arrive and I set it aside, thinking to myself that I would cancel the order when life settled down.
Sad fact - I am used to dealing with companies who are willing to accommodate customer's needs. I called yesterday after seeing my statement and asked that my future orders be cancelled and inquired about a refund on the previous products. Nope. Can't do that. I asked to speak with a supervisor, who called today. He told me the same thing. Both of them reminded me several times that I had checked the box acknowledging the charges and automatic shipments. No where in my mind do I remember reading anything about the full cost for these bottles. I was stunned at the amount they are charging.
A few minutes ago, I received another call from another supervisor who said he would refund me 50% on the last shipment. So now I only owe them $300 rather than $400. I am grateful for that at least. I had gone back through my emails and confirmation notices from this company and no where - no where - does that exhorbitant amount show. It's not even listed on the packing slips. Nothing stating that is what you are being charged until it shows on your statment.
I acknowledged my own responsibility in this and asked for their consideration in reducing the amount to something a bit more realistic. I was told that was the best they could do.
I honestly feel that their lack of openess with the actual prices, and burying the agreement for a full price charge after 14 days and automatic refills is deceptive at best. Buyer beware and I sure wasn't. I guess I am used to the majority of internet companies who are more than willing to help resolve issues and understand human mistakes. Not these guys. Don't do business with them. Do not!

I did read the fine print regarding the 14 day Free Trial on Max Garcinia 365 pills and as soon as they arrived I called immediatly to cancel and had a hard time because they kept trying to give me a better deal and when I rejected all their efforts they said I couldn't keep the pills I had purchased for Free Trial and had to pay to have them sent back! So I was out $25 in total for the shipping and handling for receiving and sending back and also when I ordered the Max Garcinia 365 a pop up window came up and MADE me order another pill called Max Green Coffee 365!
Please everyone be careful and anytime you see a "FREE TRIAL" it simply isn't true!
Learned my lesson!
