Cellular South chages disconnect fees to keep from refunding deposits. Memphis, Tennessee

I paid a large deposit and was told it would be refunded after ten months as long as i paid my bill each month.

I sometimes did not pay on the exact date due but NEVER exceeded 30 days and never paid short.  My phone was not cut off at any time but reconnect fees were charged to me.

After ten months, I was told I would not get my deposit back because I had not paid my bill according to their requirements.

I later ACCIDENTALLY apid them an additional amount that was due to go to my new carrier and they cashed my check, even though I did not owe them ANY money and in fact THEY owed me over 250 dollars, even by their calculations.

I have been trying for ten weeks to get my money back and have been told in response to eight seperate emails that my money would be refunded "within two weeks". 

I STILL DO NOT HAVE MY MONEY!

Beware of these thieves who are inept and criminal in their dealings.  I am not the only person who has been bamboozled by them - the lady who works right beside me is dealing with them now on charges made for services her phone does not even support!
