Centex Aka: NationStar Ambulance Chasing, Shade Tree, Clueless Loan Officers. Even a Caveman can do it Loan practices. Irvine, Stockton, Modesto, Tempe, Hawthorn Etc. California and Arizona

Starting Sept 2005, a year ago, we applied for a loan through the eloan website. We were turned down. And after reading the horror stories off of here, we are one of the fortunate one's it appears coming in contact with Centex.

However we were approached by the "Ambulance Loan Chaser's" at Centex. Since we had been turned down for a refinance,for reasons still not clear, except that the loan officer Minjee was a "Cluts" She guaranteed us a loan in a email. "Loan to be given in 7 to 10 business days?" With 720 Fico score, she said it was a shoe-in. We gathered all the necessary info.

We were cohearsed into paying for a blackmail appraisal, or we couldn't get a loan. Well we didn't get one anyway!
For some reason California passed a law that the consumer has to pay for an appraisal, but doesn't have a choice or say so in the process nor does the appraisal belongs to the consumer. It belongs to the lender (but you can get a copy, if the lender allows you)?
The rude appraiser left off a room and the appraisal came in low. I tried talking to the appraiser, but she reminded me that she didn't work for me, even though I had handed her $375.

I challenged it, but their appraiser had personal problems and had to fly down to Los Angeles, to take care of a sick family member. She never took a look at the omitted room.

I was promised a refund, but never received the money back, even after numerous callings and talking to rather young manager, according to her and me hearing how she became branch manager after her so call many many years of being in the loan business of doing loans. All of 2yrs?

She couldn't have been over 24yrs old. All the loan officers, I spoke to over the 13 months of being harassed were not over 25yrs of age. And the lack of seasoned experience. It was obvious after awhile to me, that their business training is only in Ambulance chasing function fashion.
One step below a car dealer. The farming type pracices as in cattle and pig wrangling. Their employer must think "Even a Caveman can do loans".
Their desparation eluminates.

So I thought that this was the end. Not! I was telephoned a month later and this is their standard hit line "I was going over the computer records and I see that you turned down a loan, can you tell me why you didn't want our money?"......I discovered later, that they already know why, they just want to see if we were a better catch and had conditions change. (this is how they are trained)
After the 5th call, I began hanging up on them. All in total they pulled our credit 8 times. Each time that they did this, it drops our credit scores down. The consequences are, when you go somewhere else, they see that your credit has numerous inquires. It throws up red flags. Your challenges increase. I was upset.

I asked to be taken out of their computer, that I did not want to do business with them at all.
They said that they would, but they are liars, Since this time, I have totally been called 22 times. The last time I spoke to a speaker of lies, was November 2nd, 2006.
The call that got under my skin, is the girl at the number
1 707-543-5859....she lied to me. Telling me half truths and lying straight up. I was told that the company had split up and now they had even better and brighter programs and they weren't the same sorry liars as the other Centex.
She claimed they had programs for fico scores as low as 550, but she would have to talk to her underwriter and would get back to me Monday, as to our luscious rate, that we were going to get!
Now remember this is for a re-finance. No extra money, just a lower interest rate, lower payments.

On Sunday I was alerted by TrueCredit that my credit had been inquired upon. I didn't authorize any credit pulling?
I checked and that sorry behind little girl, had pulled my credit! Desparation for making money, made her do it!
It's a competive business, where these youngster should not be!

She didn't call me back on Monday. Instead what she had done was, check the delayed county records, for comparable home sells and she did a self style appraisal and had decided that I wasn't worth the time for a return call. So on Tuesday I called, she lied and told me that she did not pull my credit. She claims we didn't have enough equity (this is how ineffiecient they are)
On Friday she told me that she only had to check the fico score program with her underwriter, to see what our rate would be!

I demanded to speak with the head of the organization, she gave me to her very young manager instead and I told him straight up, that they were just a bunch of little kids running loose, in a grownup world, with grownup business, without the proper training and that they knew nothing about real loan lending.
I demanded that they retract the credit inquiry and that they remove my name immediately from their stupid computers and do not call me any more!..........you think that worked. NO.!..I was called a few days ago and I lite into the young man.....he apologized and quickly hung up the phone.

I have since reported them to the Federal Trade Commission. Wrote a letter to California's Attorney General and reported them to the Dept of Real Estate. Reason? I received a denial letter from Centex. Get this. Stating that my credit file had nothing in it??? Duhhhhhh....I spent $4000 writing and cleaning out my credit files and calling and removing all unnecessary inquiries. Inquiries from dead beat agencies looking for a quick dollar. I upped my scores 30pts. And this dumb bunny ambulance chaser, comes along and attempt for thrills and wipes out my daily work!
So that she can have a pay check!

These little people need to be trained properly. They are the new breed of rudeness and just don't have a clue or the ethics that is commanded in the business world, like in the good old days. They have no accountablility or copability. There is no recourse. They are being taught bad business habits at the expense of the consumers and no one is watching them in their candy store.
