Charlotte Aceres is a filipino living in Dubai UAE. She sells all kind of things online using different names and aliases including jewelry and accessories.

She only accepts cash payments. I live in Sydney but I have a friend in Dubai and on 5/17 my friend met her at a coffee shop and placed two small orders on my behalf. I received the goods within a few days. The quality was good. Communication was excellent at the time.

I then decided to place a larger order for 58000 AED that’s roughly 20000 AUD. We agreed my friend would give her 29000 AED in cash in person and then the other 29000 AED when I had received the goods. We also agreed on a delivery timeframe of three weeks. All this was documented on emails.

3 weeks passed and she started to give us all kind of excuses. Told me her supplier in Philippines had problems and I needed to wait longer. The next excuse was a personal tragedy in her family. She was supposed to go back to her country to take care of a family member but she promised she was going to mail everything from there herself upon arrival. She never did.

After 3 months of this non-sense I got tired of waiting and asked her for a full refund. Pointless to say she disappeared on me. She carried on to mass-block me and my friend on all possible personal and merchant online accounts. She changed the name of her seller accounts and removed her own name from the profiles. Emails were bouncing as undeliverable.

I placed several claims with Alibaba but they well all declined because Aceres wasn’t a verified seller and we didn’t use their payment platform. My friend spoke to a barrister in Dubai but he couldn’t help because the transactions were in cash.

I was cheated. Felt so bad I went into a lengthy depression. The money I used to pay for this order was borrowed from a line of credit so I was indebted forever and I lost my small business because I couldn't afford any more stock.

A few weeks ago I received an email from another victim of Aceres who saw my reports. I realized I wasn’t alone.

It turns out Aceres has allegedly defrauded others for years but always in small amounts and in cash. She earns someone’s trust with small orders and then hits them with the large ones.

Not long ago another victim started following her steps and noticed Aceres was associated with a Church in Philippines called “ICOC Zamboanga City Family”. Their address matches the one she listed on Alibaba as one of her “suppliers” from the Philippines. She is some kind of christian cleric at this Church and she has a big family there.

She lives in Dubai but she is often in Philippines and she is very active in the international Christian community.

A cruel scammer hiding behind God’s gospel. Victims are encouraged to report Aceres to their local police.

#2 UPDATE EX-employee responds

Information on Charlotte Aceres

AUTHOR: Fe - (United Arab Emirates)

POSTED: Sunday, March 18, 2018

Her full name is Charlotte Mae Aceres. In 2016 she pocketed in the neighborhood of 15000 dirhams from me. I received the wrong merchandise with awful quality that I couldn’t sell. Not what she promised. The jewelry was so terrible I could not sell one single item.

She continuously lied to me to get away with it. Does anyone know if she is in the Philippines?. I know of several people that are looking for her.

Thank you

She is a wolf in sheep's clothing

AUTHOR: Nacario - (Philippines)

POSTED: Wednesday, January 24, 2018

I knew it!. Charlotte swindled me and many others when she was with Royale. She took my leads and cashed on them but she never paid residuals. I sold merchandise like a nut and as per her request I channeled my sales through her but she kept all the money and no merchandise was delivered. I had to pay customers out of my own pocket while she gave me all kind of excuses like family emergencies or church appointments.
