Check Smart Att Mr. Alvarez phone harassment und not cooperative Dublin, Ohio

I took out a pay loan from check smart.  I wanted to consolidate this debt with others and even applied to a debt consolidation firm.  They cannot cash my check, since I closed my account at the advice of my bank.

Since they could not cash my check they did started calling me. They called me numerous times on my home and cell phone. I kept a phone log and even recorded some of their messages.


I had even send them a certified letter and even offered a payment plan and set them a money order for 50 dollars.  They were  not cooperative with a payment plan or working with a debt consolidation.

Tonight they called and had not received my letter.


I have also contacted  Pro Seniors and well as a troubleshooter with a local TV station. They came out to interview me and want to air my case. Of course many people would be helped by this. These cash advance places charge interest rates of close to 100% when according to the attorney general they should charge no more that 28%. 

I was also informed the debt consolidation place I  contacted, is collecting money from the clients  and not sending money to creditors  which is against the Federal Trade Commission.
