I went to sellmycar.com and I was contacted by a seller. here is her email ;

Hi there,

Thanks for your inquiry regarding my vehicle, hope you're still interested since it has never been wrecked or damaged, excellent condition, it doesn't have any dents or scratches, accident-free and has a clean and clear Title. You should know that all the service and maintenance records are available and up to date, fluids have been recently replaced. I'm selling so cheap due to the fact that I am about to leave US since my medical team will be redeployed in Afghanistan, therefore I need a fast and reliable deal as I won't let it go old in my backyard. My price is $2,200.00 USD, shipping included. The vehicle is currently inGainesville, GA (where I just arrived with some work for a little while) and will be shipped for a 7 days inspection period without any problems, shipping period - 48-72 hrs. I will sell it through eBay Escrow Service. Please provide the buyer's name and shipping address in order to receive all the information about this possible purchase.

In order to locate the vehicle again please visit URL:

Take care.

Chelsea

after two other emails I received an email with Ebay Logos but instead of paypal they ask for a wire transfer using Wester Union, which is an unusual way to sell with ebay they never use any other payment than Paypal, after the email I tried to contacted the seller and no answer.

Typical scam..

They do this on Craigslist too.

Another give away is when the scammer states they will do it through "eBay escrow service". There is no such thing as eBay escrow service or ebay escrow. A service called escrow(dot)com is approved by eBay, and is the only one..but eBay does not offer any escrow service of their own.

Very savvy of you to pick up that this was a scam. You would be surprised how many people fall for this..and pay by western union. 100% of the time it is a scam and no vehicle is ever delivered, and the money is gone for good, without a trace.

If a vehicle was this good of a deal, there would be no reason to have to ship it anywhere, it would sell locally in a heartbeat.
