I answered an add from Craigs List looking for talent and when I was contacted I was told they needed someone to promote a new business adventure of an all female racing team (Team SGWR) and everyone I could get signed up I would receive $500.00.  The initial investment was $2500.  To receive extra $10,000 gifted shares, a one time $50,000 bonus when revenues hit twenty million dollars. Personalized Charter-founder membership cards, also royalities from products
sold, hats, beverage drinks, bracelets, etc.

This was to be an all female racing team for Indy car and Simona De Silvestro was to be their driver and Lyn St. James was to be a corp sponsor we were told.

We have not been able to receive our $2500.00 investment back which we gave to Darrell Wolter, Jan 11, 2010.

Why would anyone "invest" what you di with whom you did?

AUTHOR: voiceofreason - (United States of America)

Don't mean to make you feel bad, but why on earth would you fork over 2500 grand to some shill posting a scam on Craigslist? Can't legitimate business offers be found? Don't you do any research on a company before handing them over such cash? You're savvy enough to use the internet and resort to posting here. Why aren't you savvy enough to know you were out and out scammed? You're never seeing that money again, and could even be held liable by anyone you in turn recruited for this. You post this as though it were an otherwise rock solid existing company that perhaps could be shamed into making your situation right.

Times have really changed

AUTHOR: Larry - (U.S.A.)

I retired just last year and I am really surprised at how my memory has failed me already.  The way I remember it, when you worked for someone else they paid you.  I don't ever recall going to work for someone where I had to pay the employer.  Have jobs gotten so hard to find that people are now willing to pay for the privilege of being a commission salesperson or am I just remembering it all wrong?
