Chordiant Software Dishonest Practices Cupertino California

I am an ex-Chordiant employee but I feel obligated to inform both current and potential Chordiant customers about the low ethical standards of this company, as I think it is their prerogative to know their vendor. I have self-volunteered to be the whistle-blower after which, I will leave it up to the customers to take the action that they deem appropriate. I will try to keep it short and to the point to the utmost advantage of the reader.

Chordiant has always ignored all responsibility towards being honest and direct with their customers. They usually pitch their products as fully functional and widely used in the industry; whereas on the contrary, most of them are only in the initial stages of development and never been used by any other organization.

The so-called products are usually built on-site with customer time and money. All the projects that I personally have been involved in; have been tremendously over schedule and budget with severe scope compromise and extreme customer dissatisfaction. Sometimes, it is too late in the game for customers to exit from the implementation process as they have already invested a lot in Chordiant.

Chordiant being a nascent and a small company has a high attrition rate. In order to keep their costs low and short-term profits high, they hire inexperienced people that have absolutely no knowledge either of any Chordiant product or the domain industry.

These new hires are placed at customer locations from Day One as experienced Chordiant consultants, and charged the billing rate of an experienced consultant. They are trained to lie about themselves as well as their knowledge of Chordiant products, which is both strenuous and difficult for them. I can vouch for this as I have had first-hand experience of this.

I encourage all organizations that are already engaged in, or are planning to engage in doing business with Chordiant - to validate the authenticity of this information by checking with the customers personally, that Chordiant makes any reference to. I also earnestly urge them to please conduct a thorough background check of Chordiant and the resources before signing any contract with them. I have first hand knowledge of the remorse and regret of customers.
