Just like others have reported, CIC ConsumerInfo.com fraudulently billed my credit card $79.95 for a "FREE" credit report. When I contacted the company, they told me that this was the "annual renewal fee" which they automatically bill. They would NOT refund my money, and asked me for all sorts of personal information to "verify" my account. I think that they may be engaged in identity theft operations.

They have consented to remove my name from their annual renewal lsit, but I have no assurances that this will occur. I will be contacting my bank to alert them to this fraudulent billing scam.
