I applied for a free credit report online about a month ago, and the company supposedly needed my bank account number for identity verification. Identity theft and ripoff more like it.

Here is a small blurb from their online address that says they will at least notify me when my "Free Trial" for this CIC Credit Monitoring has expired. Instead, they just ripped me off $80.00.

"And that's not all...along with your INSTANT credit report, well give you 30 FREE days of the CreditCheck Monitoring Service at no obligation. " This is a quote from their web page. What a bunch of lying cheats.
