I called on November 6, 2008 BEFORE my account was charged $14.95 for credit monitoring while it was still pending at the bank. The guy said that I would not be charged and he canceled my membership.
On November 7, 2008 I checked my account and the charge went through. I called them back and asked for the name of the man I spoke with and the lady said for security reasons she could not disclose that information nor give me the address and zip code of the company.
This was supposed to be a FREE CREDIT report that I pulled from the Internet on October 27, 2008. I honestly did not see where I agreed to the Monitoring for $14.95.
The guy on the 6th told me that I didn't push a wrong link but that is how they do their free credit reports. I also contacted the BBB.
