This company and any company dealing in leasing practices should not be exempt from the Fair Debt Collection Practices ACT. Write your senators, congressmen and govenor to amend the Fair debt collection act to include small businesses. The scam of the ventors associated with Cit lease finance is outrages- from falsifying documents, to misleading customer with false representions and not even informing you the customer of the finance company they use. Their non cancellable lease will lead to harassing phone calls rude represenitives and threats. I urge every person involved with a complaint with Cit or their affiliated companies to contact the Fair Trade Commission and file yor complaint there. This will Not fall on deaf ears the FTC has recently won a case agianst leasecomm for the very similar tactics that Lease finace is practicing.
