Citizens Information Associates Star Nine Ventures, Mugshots.com Extortion, Blackmail, and Embarrassment Internet

Sahar Sarid who owns mugshots.com has been arrested by NYPD on multiple charges one of them being resisting arrest.  All the mugshot website owners have criminal records and their own mugshots.

Tyronne Jacques Spencer of ImageMax has a felony warrant for his arrest in Louisiana.

The mugshot owners are getting their own website coming soon that lists there Entire public records home address, phone numbers, photos and that of ALL their family members.

The website will also have weekly contests on funniest email, funniest phone conversation (speaker phone) and funniest photos taken in public of mugshot website owners and mugshot removal perverts.

The operation mugshot sites are likely protected by the First Amendment, since the information contained on the site is public records. Mugshot sites will often charge to unpublish material from their site, and they have the right to do so. While this practice upsets those affected, it is again legal since the sites can make decisions as to which mugshots to include, and which to unpublish. Unpublishing is a major issue in the  publishing world and it doesn't start or end with one site or another (Google "Unpublish" or "Unpublishing"). This is simply the cost of living in the Information Age, when public information is readily available.

You are right many states have outlawed the corruption of mugpublishing. Star Nine Ventures is embarrassing the city of Austin and the entire state of Texas with their Ugly Business- and we aint going to let them get away with it. Keep your eye out for more news stories. The Mug publisher propaganda misemploys 1st amendment protection and perverts our rights to public information. They WILL be explaining this to more journalists. Please sign this petition if you haven't already. Keep an eye on this senate website and try to be patient. I would recommend not paying them too, afterall, sounds like they've already done their damage to your career. Do you really want to give scammers like this access to your financial information considering they are already exploiting info that the government gives them? Companies like reputation.com will have it coming to them too for encouraging this extortion... I have talked to 3 different lawyers about this situation. While my photos and record are public it is NOT LEGAL for these websites to be reprinting them for public discourse and profit. This is illegal extortion and other states have pressed charges and shut these sites down. Unfortunately for me Pennsylvania is not one of them. These guys need to be stopped.
