Classic Life Assurance Company, Ripoff, credit disability insurance payment has been pending since March 5th, 2004 Jacksonville Florida

and still not payment has been made, I have since returned to work but the payment due from this company is still outstanding. Talked to Akilah Williams ext. 8391 and Vivian, claims supervisor.

I was hospitalized on March 5, 2004 for surgery and was off work until April 6, 2004 for a colon resection. I had purchased a credit/disability insurance coverage and life coverage on the loan for a Ford Truck from Family Ford in Marietta, Ohio. The coverage of insurance is for the full term of the loan with payments made by the insurer after two weeks of illness or injury that disables working. On March 26, 2004, I filed a claim with Classic Life Assurance Co. of Jacksonville, FL. (Life of the South) and received a notice on April 13, 2004 that the claim was in process. On April 19, 2004I received a request for the name and loan number of the lending bankwhich they already had with the initial filing. The Bank is Ohio Savings Bank, loan # 67-006927-8. I had furnished them with this information along with the doctors form and a statement from my employer,s section filled out entirely.

I have not only furnished all the information they have requested but have made two phone calls to this company with no results only that they were reviewing the claim and not other explanation. I talked to an Akilah Williams in operations/claims 1 800 888 2738 on April 19, 2004 and a Vivian, supervisor in claims on June 14, 2004 and have yet to get a reply. I did call the Business manager of Family Ford and they suggested that I report this matter to your office as this is not in a timely manner that these claims should be handled.

Please help in this matter.
