My best friend and I were hired by Dave Rager d/b/a Classics Constuction to do a painting job on a historical landmark building in Anaconda, Montana. The United Methodist Church last winter. We both worked full time and did this after work and on our days off. We spent two and a half months on this project.

This historical building got media coverage, newspaper for the work we did. When the job was over David got paid by the church and we are still waiting to get paid for our hard earned labor.

We finally got tired of waiting to get paid so we filed a claim against him with the State of Montana Department of Labor and Industry. We have recieved a judgement against him (Judgement No. 2008-334)

We recieved a letter from the Employment Relations Division, Amy Smith stating they are having promblems in collecting our judgement due to the fact he is hiding his business dealings. They have since forwarded this to a collection agency that will charge us 20% to collect for us our money. (collection Agency CBS; Collection Bureau Services)

We worked very hard on this project and are very proud of this Landmark as well as the pastor that is teaching there. We spent a lot of time as well as money in traveling back and forth to do this job. For this is not located in the city where we live.

What John and I want most of all is to let people know in our County and the surrounding areas is do not hire this guy. He is a rip-off artist and does not pay the people that do his work! he just collects the money and runs. We need to put a stop to his abuse.

We are not the first employees he has done this to, unfortunantly we found out the hard way. Any information that anybody has as to his projects, bank accounts or other would greatly be appricated as we need to put a stop to this kind of abuse.

John and I will be filing a small claims lawsuit against him for the money out our pocket that we spent for materials we purchased just as soon as we can afford too.Thank You for your time and consideration in this matter. Sincerly John **** and Michael ****.
