clayton homes inc Alexis Johnson home consultant highly abusive business Albany Oregon

we went into clayton homes of albany oregon to buy a manufacured home.  the home consluntant alexia johnson asked us for a $1000.oo cash deposit to start the fianancing prosses on a land home pkg.  alexis johnson took it apon herself to trade floor plans to one sight unseen by us. also, alexis johnson made all the upgrades she wanted to the home  when we questioned alexis johnson the home consultant she became highly verbaly abusive and refused to do any business  with us.

  we lost the home.   we had to involve the attorny generals office to get our $1000.oo deposit back.  alexis johnson called us to into clayton homes of albany oregon  179 miles round trip x 4 trips  to pick up the check that alexis johnson said she mailed to us.  when we arrived alexis johnson hand delivered a check for $1000.oo drawn off of suntrust bank.  states two signatures required on amounts of $100.oo or more.  there is only one signature.  our bank told us not to deposit the check into our accounts.  suntrust bank does not have a branch or a sister bank in this state,  there is no way to cash the check without it comming back on us.  suntrust bank fraud said  the account numbers on the check issued by cmh homes inc of maryville tenn does not match with cmh homes inc suntrust bank account and there is no money in the account that is on the check.

  we have made several phone calls to several pepole at clayton homes inc aswell as suntrust bank.  it seems clayton homes inc is not willing to get involved with this matter.  suntrust bank fraud told me to distroy the check with no hope of getting our $1000.oo deposit back.
