clear wireless internet clearwire Overcharged us. Went from $20 start up to $200 Start up Internet

Clearwire has changed their name to Clear - The name may have changed, but the company has not!

If you are thinking of purchasing services from Internet Service From Clear, please think again. In our episode with this internet provider company, we were promised the bundle that included Broadband and phone service. As a "Special Promotion" they promised to give us this bundle for a $20 start up fee upfront. There was no mention of any other fees. The operator we spoke to said that was all that would be charged to our credit card. Well, when we check our account, we have a charge of $200.

To top this off we have internet that does not respond as a 4g. I do not think it is even 3g. Takes forever to down load anything. They were also pleasant in telling us where we can pay our online bill. As if they are going to get money from sane people after they commited fraud by taking money not authorized in the amount we both agreed upon?

I own and operate a professional House Painting and Roof Cleaning business and I can tell you that if I charged $375 to clean their shingles and at the end of the day hit them with a bill of over $3,000 relative to my story, I would not be paid and would be reported for the shady business practices.

What makes ClearWire think they can do this to anyone is beyond me, but I am taking a stand to put this out there not only for what I went through, but for others who have and not stood up to these people. Calling these people are a waste because they act like they do not have a grasp on the beauty of the English language with words such as, cancel my service, refund my money and my favorite of your clearwire service is not clear at all.

In the end they "Agreed" to work with us and rfefund us a whole entire $50. Lets do some math. Charged us $200-$50=$150  Since they only said they would charge $20 that still means they owe us $130. I mean this is consumer math stuff. Not complicated at all.

Get this. When we told them that our service was not working with the mobile, they said to open our blinds!!!  Open our blinds??

Moral of the story: Do not call upon this company if you want to be dealt with straight which is my own opinion through my own experience. Avoid this company with all of your being and money. They will sell you a bill of goods that does not deliver and charge you more than agreed upon.
