Buyer Beware these strings are bad news Dont believe the hype
These strings do not belong on a musical instrument they should be used for building Chicken Coops or fences.
These strings are DISGUSTING. They are as stiff as a steel rod with no give. They pulled my bridge pins out with each turn of the tuner they popped out destroying the top of my Taylor guitar. They are too stiff to play with NO GIVE at all. I went to buy Elixirs at guitar center and they refused to sell them to me and pushed these on me, assuring me they were better than Elixirs. I wasted a day and scratched the top of my guitar terrible.

Cleartone Strings - They are Good

After reading this complaint, I was amazed to read someone wrote this about any strings. Like " when I tighten it, it pulls out the pegs or lifts the top of the guitar." Has anyone heard of over tightening strings. I think the amazing part was the strings did break first. Anyway, to anyone that cares I have used their stings on my Les Paul, Telecaster and Squier 51 and they last and sound great. I use a different brand for my Taylor guitar just based on sound. They are nice people and make a great product. Shame on someone post that review. Also why would guitar center refuse to sell this person Elixier strings since they are the same price. I thought this post was a joke, then I thought maybe not. Maybe Elixier has banned them from buying their string already. Now I now what to do with my old strings, make a chicken coop with them. Also I Play 3 to 4 hours a day and I change them every 3 months, cause I can, not sure if I need to.
