Clearwater Imports Elaborate Dropshipping Scam! Job listing to sell furniture online! Internet

 Answered a job ad about helping a startup furniture wholesaler based out of Portland sell products on eBay/Amazon/etc. Received information, including lengthy documents about products and website where I would place orders once sold to customers. Set up shop on eBay, everything seemed good. Once orders came in, was promised customer tracking information once items shipped, even received tracking information showing items shipped from supplier overseas to warehouse. Never received tracking information, despite communicating nearly daily via phone, text, and email with Clearwater. Had to refund all items and am now out almost $1000 that I paid to Clearwater. It's been a couple of weeks and now their website is defunct. It was an ELABORATE scam, and I had no reason to suspect it wasn't real once they sent me all the info... but as soon as they had my money I never heard anything more from them.
