JD Byrider aka CNAC Financing called us after we traded their vehicle in on a brand new Toyota Tundra. We traded their 2001 Daewoo in on a Thursday night, the payment was due on Friday and we had harassing phone calls for two weeks.
They have threatened to report us to all three credit bureau's and we were not late on a payment! They said we still owed the payment due although we traded the vehicle in and Toyota was paying it off in full? I was told by the Andre the SGM of Keith Pierson Toyota in Jacksonville that they do not have good business practices and other people refer to them as crooks.
After reading this webpage, I couldn't agree more...please help spread the word, they are crooks, they overprice their vehicles that are mostly from car rentals or have had severe damage in the past, but most importantly...they do not have the working man's best intrest at heart. Yes, we rebuilt our credit and was able to buy a new truck but I don't know if it was worth the hateful phone calls we have had to endure. Buyers Beware!

They are correct. It takes the dealer 2 weeks typically to pay off a car. So, if you traded on Thursday, and the payment is due Friday, then you need to make the payment to them, since the car isn't paid off yet, otherwise they can screw with your credit.
You will get that payment back when Toyota pays off your loan. The Daewoo lender must refund any overages of payoff to you within 30 days.
