June 19/09 - Order Confirmation Email from lillian.kithe69@gmail.com

July 3/09 - Visa billed $79.95usd ($95.50cdn) (charge shown as Tipperhealth 202-595-0001)

July 6/09 @ 2:31 pm I sent an email to lillian.kithe69@gmail.com which was the original email sent to me confirming my order. I asked where my product was.

July 6/09 @ 9:54 pm - I received a generic email from coloncleansesupport11@gmail.com informing me that my Visa has been billed because my 15-day trial is up and I have not returned the product.

But, I have not yet received the product.

July 7/09 - I sent 2 return emails stating that I had not received the product and they were not to bill my Visa. And I asked that the order be cancelled, as I wanted no further dealings with the company.

July 8/09 I received an email from Dave Holt saying As part of our policy, a cancellation of the original purchase can only occur after you have received the order, and sampled the actual product itself. This is the entire purpose of the trial order.

July 8/09 I replied email saying that, since it doesn't take a month for a product to come in the mail, we can safely assume that the order has not yet been shipped, in which case the order can be cancelled before shipment. I again stipulated that I did not want to be charged for a product that I have not received.

July 13/09 Colon Pro Cleanse arrived in the mail via expedited parcel from a company called Marketing Ventures.

July 13/09 I discovered that my Visa had already been billed on July 3rd and the charges were not reversed.

July 14/09 - I contacted Canada Post to see whether the order was shipped after I requested it be cancelled. They cannot track it.

July 14/09 - I researched Marketing Ventures online. I cannot find this company, except through complaint sites that describe a similar scam.

July 14/09 - I researched Dave Holt. His name came up in several complaint sites as a Customer Support Representative for a company called Power Cleanse who run a similar scam.

Apparently, they keep charging your visa each month and do not return your phone calls or emails except to give you a return address in China or offer the product at a discount price to prevent the hassle of shipping to China.

I am clearly at the early stages of the scam. I have kept all email correspondence with this company and I have discussed this case with my Visa company for future protection.
