Russell at Comic Supply is at best a bad (and unethical) businessman, who takes orders and then is full of excuses as to why you won't be getting the merchandise on-time, or ever.  At worst, he's a scam artist who sometimes delivers on minor product orders so as to keep you strung along until you can't dispute the charge on your credit card anymore.

Russell still owes me hundreds of dollars in hardback books, trade paperbacks, and miscellaneous stuff.  For months I got either ignored, or excuses (our site is down, the product is on backorder, an employee just quit and we got behind), or false promises (that went out last month, I'll give you credit for what we don't have, etc.) Now, he's resorted to refusing to communicate completely.  So I'm out a considerable amount of money, and my kids and I don't have the product we ordered and paid for on good faith.

Bottom line: do not do business with Comic Supply, or Russell Altomare.
