Commonwealth Of Massachusetts Registry Of Motor Vehicles State Sponsored Con Quincy Massachusetts

I left Massachusetts and moved to Florida in the mid 70s. (38 years ago ). Since then  have worked in my profession traveling that involved rental cars and renewed my Florida license properly. Recentlly I went to the DMV here in FL to get a change of address replacement license where I was told that my license to drive in MA was suspended back in 1982 due to unpaid excise auto taxes for years 1974, 1975 and 1977 and therefore could not get my license in FL. 

After spending a week on the phone with The Registry Of Motor Vehicles  and the Tax Collector in Littleton MA I was told that this was a mistake and that I could have my right to drive reinstated for a fee of $100.00. This is a scam put up by the Commonwealth Of Massachusetts and I wonder how many other people have been Ripped Of in this manner. Beware of the scam artists in "TAXACHUSETTS".
