We have serviced Con-Way Freightlines for over 6 years and have provided excellent service. We have replaced their windshields/glass all this time so that the trucks can get back on the road and not lose money, etc. We believe the company is in financial trouble due to the fact that our oldest Invoice that is unpaid is from July 13, 2007. We have been calling since October 1st on various Invoices and have been put off many times, the check is in the mail, etc. We finally put the account on hold in December (after telling them that if the account was not brought current by the end of December it would be put on hold). This company currently owes us $2,553.00. We do not want any other vendors, of any type. to lose money and service a company that appears to be going bankrupt! Our demand letter will be going out Monday, February 4, 2008 (we have tried to wait for payment and avoid this process) and will file a lawsuit if payment is not made within the designated time period. BEWARE of doing work for Con-Way and don't lose your money!

Burning Bridge OK when you do not receive payment for services rendered!

AUTHOR: Ceo - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, July 10, 2009

I know of this case and payment was never made for the entire amount due. Over $500.00 had to be written off. A choice was made not to pursue in Court at this time. Some bridges are worth burning if they cost YOU money and YOU provide the services!

One bad apple spoils the bunch!

AUTHOR: Mike - (U.S.A.)

I can assure you that this company is not in trouble. In all probability it is just a bad TM trying to put off paying you so his budget looks good. Have you tried calling the corporate office? I think you may have just burned a bridge for yourself. The money you claim they owe you is a drop in the bucket.
