Conseco Fairbanks Capital Corp ripoff consumer fraud ripoff Salt Lake City Utah

In the summer of 2002 my husband and I re-financed our house (better rates)with Conseco Finance. After only 3 months Conseco then sold our loan to Fairbanks Corp. Not only did Conseco really truly charge us unbelievable fees to even do the loan, and we are still in awe under all of the promises and legally written documents that prove fraud on there part, but after filing a complaint with Corporate about one of there local branches they sold our loan to Fairbanks.

Since then, Fairbanks states I am past due on my loan and they do not apply my mortgage payments. I have talked to them several times and they state they didn't get the transfer done and to continue to pay Fairbanks and the law states they can not report late fees if it is in the consolodation stage for 60 days.

Well let me tell you, not only are my late fees incuring at a rate of $194 but also they have reported my mortgage as late to the 3 credit bureaus. This is now not just costing me money but credit! Because of their error. How can companies get away with this and what can we do as homeowners to stop this cycle. This was not our choice to have our mortgage purchased by this company.
