Continuum Pictures is not a legitimate production company. They will meet with you and they will tell you they've done 20 pictures and they can get you 500 screens, but they can't do squat. All they want is your money and your contacts.
They will tell you lie after lie about what they are going to do for you and who they will introduce you to and then do nothing. Scratch, that, they do worse than nothing. They waste your time. They introduce you to people that they say have connections when they really don't. All of their meetings are held at Starbucks or Coffee Beans. One member of their team does data entry at Warner Bros so occassionally he will get them access to a conference room after hours, but no one they introduce you to has any pull. All they want is for you to introduce them to your contacts who are real in exchange for meeting their contacts who are fake.
They tried to hustle one friend of mine out of money until he saw the quality of their work and to be frank, it sucks. The quality of their work is worse than kids with cameras. Everything they do is done with consumer cameras. And none of their work is ever screened nor does it get distribution. They lied to a friend of ours about getting her film on 500 screens, and in wal mart, and block buster and netflix and they couldn't even get it on amazon or the netflix instant queue which is something a monkey could do.
Time is your most valuable asset, filmmakers do not let these scheisters waste your time. They don't know how to run a company, make a movie, sell a film, or deliver a print. They just want introduced to your circle of influence to mine you for everything you're worth. They're six dudes who live in a two bedroom apartment in the valley, but pretend to be big time players who know everything when they don't know squat and have no respect in the industry.

They changed their name from Continuum Pictures to Continuum Motion Pictures because of law suits. be very careful when dealing with these people. I just looked up james duval/james hobbs on communtiywatchdog.us and he IS a convicted child molester and Danny is just plain dirty.

It would seem Danny Torres and James Duval have changed the company name because of some sort of litigation regarding their old LLC, however, rest assured it's the same deadbeat theif and corrup child molester running this company, Continuum Motion Pictures that ran the old company Continuum Pictures.

I just double checked the familywatchdog.us website and that is definitely James Duval / James Hobbs on it. Creepyyyyyyyyy!
A friend of mine had a run in with these guys. They promised her the world and then did absolutely nothing when she refused to date one of them. then months later she went to a party they through and showed up alone as she was meeting a friend. Lucky for her, she was meeting a friend because she would up getting roofed at the party and were it not for her friend she probably would have been raped.
So do yourself a favor and steer clear of this production company.

Yes, I am a convicted child molester. I have done some very bad things in my life, very, very bad things, but am now trying to move on with my life. I served my time in prison for what I did. I am very sorry to all those that I hurt. I know there's nothing I can do to make things better. I am sorry that I've hurt you,
but I paid my debt to society and I feel I've earned the right to move on.

these guys are a waste of time. They will do or say anthing to milk you for your time and connections. James Duval or James Hobbs will tell you any lie to make you believe he knows how to get a movie made and more specifically to make you believe he will make your movie, but he has no power and no connections and NO DESIRE to help anyone other than himself. He acts like he's going to help you so you open your contacts up to him.
Don't trust him. He really is on the child molester web site - www.familywatchdog.us - just type in the name James Hobbs without a specific state and he will come up (the web site works like this because his address isn't listed - scary, i know and i think more than likely illegal that his address doesn't come up.) But it's his photo for sure. I even attached one below.
Avoid him at all costs.

I was also scammed by James Duval at Continuum Pictures. James Duval is really James Lee Hobbs, a Registered Sex Offender for Committing Lewd or Lascivious Acts With A Child Under 14. Stay away from this man. I wonder what alias he'll use next time? My opinion? He's a fraud and a child molester.
