Corcoran Real Estate large real estate agent using sleazy, dishonest and aggressive tactics ripoff New York New York

When purchasing a property in New York, myself and some friends used an agent who did all the leg work, developed comps, provided pricing, took us on hard hat visits and sold us on the relative benefits of an investment property. Parul Brahbatt, a real estate agent heard we were about to buy, she approached me with an offer to give me 1/2 the commission back if I switched to her as my agent. I had never met her or she provided no service for the transaction, and the first day we met was at the signing of my new property.

Corcoran had done no work and had stolen the sale from the other agent. Later Parul said she no longer could provide me with her offer of splitting the commission, she instead offered to buy me airline tickets to Australia instead, apparently her offer was illegal and she was nervous to follow through. I told her I would never have used Corcoran if not for the offer, and she has misled me and stolen the sale. Upon speaking to her boss Ellen Leon and Mitch Herman (Corcorans Counsel), I found Corcoran is extremely arrogant, they boasted how they had an army of attorneys. The attorney would never respond to my letters, and Corcoran, while at once demanding they received their commission, refused to provide any service, not even returning my contract to me after almost a year.

Corcoran contacted other witnesses who were familiar with the agreement and attempted to coerce them not to make a comment, instead these witnesses provided written statements confirming the facts and confirming the attempt to coerce them.

Corcoran is an arrogant, dishonest firm that has attempt to bully me and hide the truth. They have not provided any service for the fees, and I never would have used them if it hadnt been for their false promises. There leadership has not solved the issue, but attempted to cover it up, and I am extremely shocked at a firm the size and stature of Corcoran would operate such low-ball tactics. Please stay away from them

The agents are unprofessional. In fact, Parul and I dated briefly after the sale but before she refused to honor the agreement, showing how unprofessional they are is that they date their clients and create murky situations. I have many unprofessional examples of correspondence as part of this that I can show anyone who is interested. I am seeking redress with Real Estate Board of NY, the BBB and the Department of State
