I had gave him the benefit of the doubt after he ensured me some "family" was using his name after i later caught back up with him after a year went by.  But, once again, he did the same exact thing, nothing. And kept ranting on and on about God and church. I also never got 1 dime back of the $1,000 he was given.

The guy was acting weird, asking me to talk to him on the phone and comfort him and weird stuff like that.

He said his parents died in a car wreck and some other family and that he had to take in some small nieces and nephews.

Turns out, it looks like Karma has caught up with him, i checked on google to see if he was still scamming, and up pops a death and funeral announcement, looks like he rolled a car and died.

I got a hunch this guy was on drugs or booze or both, and had major issues, he even made death threats to a correctional institution it appears.

Looks like Karma finally caught up with this guy.

If he has good parents, i feel sorry for them, but as for him, justice served.

This guy stole from countless nationwide for years, and he knew people couldn't really do much about it, so that's why he kept it going.

It's no telling how many people lost cars, apartments, houses, behind this scammer. These people don't realize when they steal from already desperate poor people like that, the shock waves from 1 incident can s****.>

Corkey Cooksey, aka:  Nathan Gann, Peyton Gann, Josh Gann, Corkey Don Cooksey is nothing more than a high school dropout that does his "business" in his parents' home.  He has no education.  He makes his living by scamming people online through his "business."  He lives in Jonesboro, Arkansas.  He has a criminal background for bomb threats and felony fleeing, among other convictions.  BEWARE of this person.

I also fell victim to Corkey Cooksey a.k.a. Peyton Gann. I was introduced to him in February 2013 who guarnteed my credit reports would be fixed within 3-6 months. Corkey or Peyton requested I send him 500.00 then asked for an additional 250.00 to prevent him from going to jail for an old traffic warrant so he can ensure that he finished my report within a sufficient time. He also requested I send more clients to him so he rebuild his tarnished reputation. I did so and never had so much as an address updated. There was always excuses such as I'm in a small town and the storm knocked out my power. Sometimes weeks passed and he wouldn't answer nor return calls emails etc. He also requested that I get a hold of the clients I sent who were just as worried because of his inaccessability, and reassure them. Five months passed and I began to ask for my funds back for services that were never rendered but to no avail. He always ran this is a Christian based business but I never read in the Binle on how to manipulate ones who requested services to make a better life for them and their perspective families. Since then I still haven't heard from Corkey Cooksey aka Peyton Gann and since then have refunded 5 of the 6 clients their monies back based off my name. I hope readers take heed to prevent being burned by this fraud who claims to be operating out of Alabama and Arkansas.

He is doing everything he can to rectify the situation, it turns out there were some people using his company to trick others.

Corkey also is very knowledgeable within the credit repair industry.

We have spoken several times and he is working on the files to get them in order.

Call me in the morning (808) 747-0008 or 870-227-2577 because I want to discuss our issue over the phone.  The reason I have a Hawaii phone is because the credit bureaus shut down at 5 p.m. in all time zones and with a Hawaii number I can get disputes entered as late as 11 p.m. Arkansas time.  The information you pulled up about Cooksey & Associates is really old; I was a teenager during 1986 and have never been affiliated anyone in the state of Florida.  I am a one person credit team; I do not take on a large number of files at a time because their is a lot of hard work and a lot of time, laws, acts, and many other circumstances that goes with running a business.  I obey the federal Fair Credit Organizations Act and do not take an fees upfront; no consultation fees, no high monthly fees; the only time I get paid is when results are produced and the client gets confirmation, though the mail for Trans Union results; through email for Equifax results; and, Experian delivers results to email and through regular mail.  I have had several middlemen go South and steal from me and a lot of clients' think it was me who got paid and did not do the work.

If you were in part with Peter Cruz, he disappeared with a lot client' (his clients') money and owed me quit a bit before he disappeared.  Like I said if I am responsible for a file; I will do the right thing because I am a Christian and would rather have no money at all and be happy than to have taken money because of an error or because of another person or simply because I did not get a chance to finish the job.

All of what you're saying may be true.  I recognize everything you said, about the dealership etc, which is who pulled the report. 

That "cruz" person may be the clown that lied to me in the first place, and took half the money, and i spoke with someone that called himself corkey on the phone a few times after this "cruz" person, (if that's the guy, which as i said before, i could have swore he was hispanic from my memory, so that may be the guy).

After he handed the file over to this corkey person. (Which is who he identified himself as) That's the person that lied, didn't do the work and wasn't answering his phone.

Unfortunately for you though, if you had others stealing and working your files etc, for 1, people trusted YOU with their files ,not every tom d**k and harry. Their information is supposed to be in a protected place and not passed around to others.

I understand you said you were ill, but if that's the case you should have shut the business down, if someone stole the computers they should have been reported. All of this leads me to believe  a lot of people probably had their identity stolen because of this reason as well.

It's no different than if i own a restaurant and some clown employee spits on someones food, guess what, i'm on the hook...

My company is a legitimate company.  I am been doing credit repair for 12 years.  I have had family members along the way to help me with the business, then just turn and run with the money.  I do  not ever know who you are or who had your file last.  But if it was me, talk to me because I have had clients in Chicago tell clients I was supposed to take care of their credit repair; I did not because I only received the first payment down.  I have a contracted written up by an attorney and my ein:  262-21-3636.  The state of Arkansas does not require a bond or license.  My expertise is getting things deleted from the credit reports rapidly.  Judgments come off with inquiries in the same day with Trans Union; Equifax is usually done in 30 and you know about Experian.  If I get the results from Experian; I can make Experian faster.  I have worked with Kevin/Ashley Drew who stole all of my computers when I was working for Bill Heard Chevrolet in Buford, GA; they tried to go off and do the business themselves and failed.  I had another cousin who I think he was with me when we had a few West Coast files from Peter Cruz in Arkansas.  I talked to Elliott Adams and told him; I would finish what was left on his bureaus and he said Peter ran away with $20,000.  The phone number:  808-474-0008 is my cellphone number; it is not a Google number or to anything else.  I am in for credit repair to help people, not just for the money.  I have been sick for the past three years with thyroid cancer and I finally got the correct treatment that is making me feel 18 years old again.  If you get me who you are; I know I can fix the situation.  I do not know what happened last time except for the fact I could have been doing business with a "middleman."

I paid a hispanic guy, and i cannot think of his name and he gave you half the money and you supposedly worked on my credit files and you didn't do S%$%. Not sure if he's still in business, or moved on to something else but yeh this guy ripped me off a few years ago. His credit repair is a joke, he disappears and doesn't answer the phone, then reappears. Then disappears for months. They also lied about what could be done. Just do it yourself people, or use a company that only charges after results, nothing up front. This guy is no good, i think he said he was out of Arkansas at the time and it was an ARK. number if i recall.
