Cox Communication Cox Cable Prejudicial, over charge Omaha Nebraska

About 12 Years ago I was arrested for a fraudlulent crime.  I was cleared of all charges the next day and rightfully so. The story behind those charges (Ill keep it short and sweet here) were basicaly that I irritated my ex boyfriends boss by leaving my ex boyfriend (dont ask why the boss got mad I still dont know) and because my ex was illegal his boss paid a lot of our bills with his personal checks and just deducted it from my ex's wages. This included rent, phone, utilities, cable, etc.  Any how I was accused of stealing those checks, for over 4 years. I was arrested and charges were dropped the next day because of the signatures on the checks being valid and testimony of numerous witnesses including my ex telling the judge the truth. Now his boss also reported to the companies that those checks were supposedly stolen and they refunded him money that he was not owed, destroying my credit and reputaion in one shot. However the good news is that I was able to show the majority of the companies that charges were dropped and I in fact was not charged with any fraudulent act and they immediatly cleared my account and reinstated my accounts within their companies.  However Cox Cable is not having any of it. I have attempted to show them that they were the victims of fraud by the other party in the case and that my services were legitimatley paid for, but bottom line from their legal dept is that they need to get paid and they dont care if the mistake was because of their lack of research of fraud claims. Now they are charging me $4000.00 for an account that (again already legitamatley paid) I dont owe.  I cannot provide cable television for my children because of this and of course they have the monopoly on cable services in Omaha. Please be careful on who you trust, and make sure you keep fighting even the big guys until whats right is done. I will keep fighting this, no matter how long it takes
