I have no idea where these companies are located but I was applying for a job through craigslist for an admin assistant position she asked me to go to the creditreprtamerica.com to get my credit score as I would be using a company credit card to run errands and they wanted to see if it was high or low which would apparantly indicate if i was trustworthy to hold a company card.

I was told it would be 2.95 and then I would get it back as the report is free. I never got it refunded and then I was charged once a week by two other companies apart from this one. For a month this went on, today i close dmy account filed a fraud report with the bank and police to have my charges returned.

This is a classic bait and switch. Under the CPA they have to put in front of your face what charges you will incur, meaning this needs to be placed in a non conspicuous area.
IT WASNT.

this was the correspondence before I was charged every week which amounted to 214 including overdraft charges.

This is a total scam. I now have to report a fraud complaint with the 3 credit reporting bureaus as Im sure now that they have ALL My personal information, it will be used for some kind of CRIMINAL ACTIVITY.

The police made me feel like I was dumb when I went to fill out the report today, the man police officer didnt even want to do a report, I felt like I was inconveniencing him but I persisted and got it done. But this is going to be a huge problem I forsee...

Anybody out there who had the same thing happen to them please contact me so we can get a class action going.

This is wrong AND we were taken advantage of with the bait and switch scheme and potentially had our identities stolen from us.
