Credit Report America did not render any sercive. I am working in Germany with the US government. I thought that I was going to receive a free credit report and monitoring but have not received anything. I was charge $1.00 initially and now $11.95 is being deducted from my bank acount monthly. I have no way of contacting the company. I have not received any correspondance from Credit Report America only $11.95 being deducted from my account monthly.

According to the Terms and Conditions, Credit Report America does not provide credit reports and they are not associated with TransUnion, Experian or Equifax. Credit Report America only provides access to manuals and materials on their website.

3. Description of the Credit Management Manuals, Member Services and Free Credit Report.
Subject to the terms and conditions of the Agreement, by registering on the Site, and receiving approval from Credit Report AmericaTM, you can obtain, or attempt to obtain Member Services. The Member Services will enable you to utilize: (a) manuals and other materials made available on the Site that provide users with various strategies for maintaining good credit and otherwise avoiding excessive debt (collectively, "Credit Management Manuals"); (b) the Free Credit Report application; and (c) the Site's many resources and programs designed to assist you in credit management. The Credit Management Manuals contain descriptions that are provided directly by the author, publisher, manufacturer and/or distributor of such materials. Credit Report AmericaTM does not represent or warrant that the information contained in the Credit Management Manuals is accurate or complete


5. Membership Fees.
Upon registering and providing the requisite Registration Data, you will be automatically enrolled in the seven (7) day trial ("Trial Period") of our Member Services program, and the credit card that you provide during registration or update at a later time ("Active Credit Card") will be charged a fully refundable One Dollar ($1.00) activation fee ("Activation Fee"). If you do not cancel your Membership as set forth in Section 6 below during the Trial Period, you agree to pay the Activation Fee and the monthly Membership fee ("Fees") of Eleven Dollars and Ninety-Five Cents ($29.95). You have also been enrolled into a fourteen (14) day trial to the Fraud Protection Resource Center and twenty one (21) day trial to Identity Theft Protection (collectively Additional Services). Should you choose not to cancel your Additional Services, you will be billed six dollars and ninety five cents ($6.95) each month for Fraud Protection Resource Center (shows as "FraudProtection") and nine dollars and ninety five cents ($9.95) each month for Identity Theft Protection (shows "IdentitySecurity). Prior charges for Additional Services are non-refundable and a monthly one dollar ($1.00) transaction fee applies to each. Subscription to Additional Services can be cancelled and future charges stopped at any time by calling toll-free 1-866-387-2521 for Fraud Protection Resource Center and 1-866-342-2994 for Identity Theft Protection. Your Active Credit Card will be charged the applicable amount for all Fees on a monthly basis, in advance, on or about the same day of each month as when your Registration Data was received. All charges are payable in United States currency. You acknowledge and agree that Credit Report AmericaTM will not obtain additional authorization from you for each month of Membership. For so long as your Membership is active, you will be billed, and you will be required to pay, all applicable charges. Your Member account may be deactivated, and access to the Site denied, for non-payment. Failure to use the Member Services does not constitute a basis for refusing to pay any of the associated charges. You agree to be bound by the pricing and billing practices of Credit Report AmericaTM in effect at any given time. Upon prior written notice to you (with e-mail sufficing), Credit Report AmericaTM reserves the right to change its pricing and/or billing practices whenever necessary, in its sole discretion. Continued use of the Site and or continued Membership after receipt of such notice shall constitute consent to any and all such changes. Credit Report America'sTM authorization to provide and bill its Member Services is obtained by way of your electronic signature or, where applicable, via physical signature and/or voice affirmation. Once an electronic signature is submitted, this electronic order constitutes an electronic letter of agency. Credit Report America'sTM reliance upon your electronic signature was specifically sanctioned and written into law when the Uniform Electronic Transactions Act and the Electronic Signatures in Global and National Transactions Act were enacted in 1999 and 2000, respectively. Both laws specifically preempt all state laws that recognize only paper and handwritten signatures.
