CreditSecure periodically cancells my account, saying information is "missing" from one of the big 3 credit reporting agencies and that I failed to supply that information. When did they ask me for it? nobody know. What information is missing? Nobody knows.
When I contact the credit reporting agency directly they don't know what I am talking about, don't show any data missing from my record, think my credit is excellent and send me back to CreditSecure, which sends me back to the reporting agency....
CreditSecure refuses to contact the reporting agency itself. It cannot tell me what data is missing.
I then get the runaround about reinstating my CreditSecure account. CreditSecure can't do it without the word from the credit reporting agency--which won't act on my say-so. I finally supply them with a standard 3-agency credit report found free online--something CreditSecure could havew done itselfwithin minutes if it was really worried about "missing data."
Catch 22 anyone?
What's the point of paying these hopless bureaucratic fools? They just waste my time. They hide behind the (relatively) good name of American Express to run an incompetent operation.
Don't fall for their ads if you happen to be an American Express customer. This isn't a service--it's a headache in waiting.
