Cricket Communications - Leap Wireless International Overcharging, Poor customer Service, Deceptive advertising San Diego, California

Based on TV advertising and the sales pitch of Cricket dealer, I signed up for service expecting free activation and free first month as advertised and promised.

I paid $460 for phones and $150 was to be applied to my account to cover the second month of service. Cricket did not give me the first month free, charged for activation and applied the $150 to the first month of service. On the second month of service my bill is over $360.

I went to three cricket dealers (cricket does not inform you that their dealers cannot make any changes to your account) in an attempt to get this issue resolved. I drove 17 miles one-way to get to an Authorized Cricket Communications store only to hear "You'll have to take this up with customer service." I called customer service and was told "You have to go to an Authorized cricket Store."

Additionally, two of my phones never received text messages for the first month and another phone could not make calls 50% of the time. My phones were just turned for lack of payment. Yet the neither the Cricket Store nor Customer Service will address this issue and correct the error in my account.

I will never recommend Cricket Communications as a wireless provider and recommend to anyone to avoid Cricket Communications like the plague. After this post my next course of action is to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I also plan on filing suit against Cricket Communications. This has been my worst investment do date.
