Crum's Climate Control Don't trust them! Unfulfilled costly service contract agreement!! Winter Park Florida

Three years ago, we purchased an air conditioning unit from Crum's...along with a $14.10 monthly service contract with the PROMISE of covering any mechanical or electrical repairs for $60.

The contract also provided 2 'checkups' a year (when you can get an appointment). On today's maintenance checkup, the service man said we needed Freon ($145.00), a leak check ($162.00) and a Contactor ($212.00). And, we have MOLD...something the "2 yearly maintenance check ups" were suposed to stop. (They spray something in the unit to stop the mold..so they say.)

I thought GREAT! NOT TO WORRY! We have a "Maintenace Plus" contract and these repairs will be covered!! NOT SO> just 2 months ago, Crum's "DECIDED" to void the contract agreements. I CAN'T believe it!! What timing!

The unit is only 3 years old and we already need reparis??? and after spending $507 in monthly fees, we now only get a 25% discount on any service or repair...?
SOMETHING IS DEFINITELY NOT RIGHT.

The repairs we need cost 529.00...we will only save $132.25.

I'm so upset. We already 'gave' them $507 in contract fees, so now we're OUT $903.75 PLUS they neglected to keep mold out of our system like the 'check-ups' promised!! How CRUMMY can you get?

We're going to price around for the same repairs...
and WE'RE GETTING RID OF THE CRUM's!! I highly suggest you avoid dealing with this company. Even if they have good offers, they are misleading, and TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE. It's a shame...DON'T TRUST THEM.
