Crystal Consumers Research Inc.- Ledco Chargeguard Mystery Shopper Scam New York New York

Recieved a check for 2,750.00 on National City Bank..looks real. They said I was selected to be a mystery shopper.. I had to send money through western union, in the amount of 2,250.00. My probation pay was 250.00 that I keep. And I was to spend 100.00 of it at places like Lowes, Best buy etc. I was sent a form to fill out and fax. I knew it was too good to be true.
The check is dated 12/01/2009, almost a year from now. AND the address on the check is different than the one on the letterhead.

The check says LEDCO CHARGEGUARD 47801 anchor court plymouth twp.MI 48170...Plus in the letter, it states that the offer expires Jan 31,2009, just days from now.
It looks very legit. Luckily for me, my parents always told me "if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is"
