Cuircuit City Rebates, customer service, all locations in area Chambersburg, Pennsylvania

Cuircuit City is a rip off when it comes to their business tactics. I bought over 1400.00 worth of merchandise from the Chambersburg location and was given the rebate forms to fill out and send in. This was done the day I got home with the computer.

After the 10 week waiting period I still had not recieved a refund from my purchases. Which mind you came up to almost 200.00. I went in and they gave me the forms and also walked me thru how to do the refunds online. So I remailed and posted the refunds on the rebate site. Now out of three tries I still have not recieved my refund and they are saying the time period has run out on the refunds, and my rufund shows never filed. Three times that was bs. I also bought a warantee for my computer and had problems with it.

I took it to another Cuircuit City Store in Altoona Pennsylvania, and they told me that it was under warantee so It would be 10 to 15 days until got my computer back from being sent out.

On the 15th day I called and asked if my computer was back and an employee told me yes. So I drove over 45 miles to get to the store from my home. As I got there the guy wiped my computer down with spray and looked at the slip come to find out my computer was never sent out. I blew a fit as I was missing my college classes and was paying 22,000 for an education. They were going to give me a loaner, which I didn't want as was told when i brought the computer to the store that they didn't do loaners, which in a conversation with the employee there was told to me that loaners were available.

So after all that they finally decided to give me a laptop that was lower priced than the one that I origionally bought and it didnt even have all the things with it that my other one did.

Finally, the insurance hadnt run out on my coverage for my computer and they said I would be issued a check for the amount of approx 150.00 for what I didn't use. to this day I still have not gotten this check either.
I will never shop in ANY cuircuit city again.
