Magician and self-proclaimed escape artist Curtis Eugene Lovell II is an accomplished professional thief. Curtis is a wolf in sheep clothing. This perpetrator portrays himself as entertainer, and a magician. For several years this individual has been breaking contracts, breeching contracts and agreements with numerous entertainers and small businesses.
He breaks the law on a regular bases by hiring or sub-contracting entertainers such as, DJs, jugglers, clowns, caricature artists etc. and doesn't pay them for the work that they do for him.
Curtis has been sued dozens of times in small claims court in Columbus, Ohio. You can verify this information and cases at www.fcmcclerk.com click public access and type in his name, Curtis Lovell. He was featured on a local news affiliate ABC 6 Trouble Shooter 6, a segment of the show that warns consumers about con artist like Curtis Lovell.
POOF! He'll make your money disappear! Curtis Eugene Lovell II is still robbing, cheating hard working people and companies. Watch out for this guy, because he appears to be charming when you encounter him. His magic and tricks are quite convincing, and he appears to be using these gimmicks to seek out those individuals he can steal from. Some other key things you need to know about him is that he is extremely manipulative and clever. He knows how to get around the laws and avoiding court appearances. Some tactics that he has used were, filing chapel 7 and constants uses of alias names, addresses and Web sites.

Greetings,
First, I have been in business for over 15 years with thousands of satisfied clients, which many refers our services to their family, friends and co-workers. I take each event seriously and my goal is to provide your special event with great entertainment. I find this report upsetting and a bit disturbing, since I work very hard for our clients to provide them with quality services and free party planning advice. Even more disturbing, I know this review is very misleading (over 10 years old) and this website does not provides a recourse or validation of reports that are made. The entertainer who filed this report was a formal entertainer with a company that was purchased under the A -F-E name. Sadly, the original business owner failed to pay many entertainers. I took care of what I thought that I was personally responsibly for and I kindly explained the situation to the ones that were not paid. A few understood and a few went on to post these type of postings. I have many entertainers that have been with me for over 10 plus years. They don't care for this report either, because they have worked hard to build our entertainment group and it seems that this particular entertainer works hard to destroy our brand instead of focusing on his own positive future.
If you look at sites like Gig -Masters, Gig -Salad and a few others, you will notice that we have positive reviews. These, sites only allow ACTUAL clients to post!
I personally encourage my current clients and future clients to speak with me personally if they have any questions or issues regarding this matter or other concerns.

As a American, a Veteran and a father, I would like to say, I witnessed this "Curtis Love II / Magic of Curtis" fellow do and say some pretty terrible things. In my opinion I would not ever again allow him to be around women or children after hearing the foul things that came from his mouth. This is my opinion, I felt it my duty to share it.

I have worked with this person for many years now. I have hired him for events and refereed him out. This is sad that someone has reported this type of information about him. Most of these things he is not even related to. Even if so it is so out dated for about 10 years ago.
To alienate a person out of competition or jealousy is wrongful. Even the person who placed this type of information does not even give their name.
