D2D, LLC; Rivista, LLC; American Cash Awards; Magazines, Inc. The magazine we ordered never came, phone number only goes to a recording, no responses to e-mails or faxes either. Golden Colorado

A young man came to our door the evening of 2/24/09. My husband ordered a 2 yrs subscription to a magazine plus "process/handling"(big ripoff there) for a total of $65. The check cleared the bank 2 days later (no endorsement on the back I might add, and a bank imprint that is just too light to make out). 5 months have gone by and still no magazine.

I tried for 1 1/2 months to get in touch with the phone number on our receipt and NO ONE EVER answers the phone... it's always a recording with no option of leaving a message. I sent e-mails, I sent faxes (to info from on the receipt). No responses.
I finally check BBB of Golden Colorado. "F" rating on this company. 118 complaints filed.

Strange thing is, the phone number ties to a company called Magazines, Inc. not to Rivista or D2D, LLC. The PO Box doesn't match up to any of these companies either, it's just a couple digits off from what is on the receipt.

I've filed complaints all over the place... and I was just introduced to this site. I wish I would have known about this website before.

If anyone comes to your door selling magazines from these companies, DON"T buy from them... BIG rip off!!
