Purchased the car from Dallas Lease Return on 11/25/2014.   Originally contacted them about a Honda Accord that I liked and the salesperson kept telling me about this Nissan Maxima that he had that would be a much newer car and still under warranty.  I told him that I wanted leather seats and would stick with the Honda and he said he would throw in Leather seats.   So I thought I decided that it was all worth it and I'd buy the car.

On December 20th,  it was raining in Texas and I was driving to get a pedicure and I noticed it was raining on my feet in the car while I was driving.  I contacted my salesperson and told them what happened and they told me that since it was still under warranty, I should take the car into the dealership.

I took the car into the dealership on December 23rd.   They did a complete inspection.    they said that the reason the car was leaking was because the place I bought it from replaced the windshield and didn't seal it properly.  they said that they also noticed that several of the electronic components in the dash were bad and needed replaced.  They said that it was likely due to the water getting into the dash but that the would replace those anyway since they weren't sure.  Said that the dealer I bought the car from should fix the leak.

I told Dallas Lease Return and the salesperson said that he would look into it, he didn't think that they replaced the windshield.   I called him a couple of times and he never got back to me unless to respond shortly to a text so I told him that I was dropping my car off to have the ECM and sensors replaced and that as soon as it was returned,  I was going to bring it into Dallas Lease Return to have the windor replaced.  I didn't hear anything so then I left him a message and said that I was dropping the car off after work on December 30th.    the salesperson called me back and said that he was going to go ahead and send an glass repair company out to my house and that I didn't need to bring the car in.    Said the guy would call me.

I never got a call from the glass repair place so I called the dealer again and he gave me the number of the glass place.   I called them and they said they would come out on December 31st but they never showed up.    I didn't try them on the 1st but on the second,   I waited most of the day and then called and didn't get an answer so I called the Dallas Lease Return and complained.   The window repair place ended up calling me back and promised to be at my house on the 4th.

January 4th,  the autorepair guy comes to my house and runs water over my car and then sees all the water coming into my car like it's raining and he and his partner were laughing and saying that they've never seen anything like that.  He said that he thinks that it is more than a leaky window.  He said "the window was replaced but it wasn't by us but leaky windows cause drips, you're getting buckets"  He then said he would call Dallas Lease Return and that he was sure that they would take care of it.

So I followed up with the salesperson and he said that he was going out of town but if I would take the car back to the dealership, that he woul follow up with them to make sure they fix it.    I took it into the dealership on January 6th.  Because this was my 4th car with his dealership, a few of which I bought new from them,  they told me that they were going to go ahead and fix the window for me and I told them I was still going to try to get the company to call them because if it isn't under warranty,  they should pay for it.

The salesperson said he was going to give the dealership a call about the car and then I never heard from him again.    The leak on the window was so bad that I had trouble driving because I was getting condensation on the inside of the window and my car smelled like mildrew.    The dealership had my car from january 6 through the 16th.

I got my car back and it hadn't really rained but I trusted that it was fixed and then was driving the car to work on January 24th and I noticed that a part of the doorframe was falling off.   I got to work and I sent an email to the salesperson and told him that the car still was having problems and that I was taking it back in.   he never responded to me.

I took the car in and it was raining on the way in.  they didn't have the part in stock so they said that they would order it and while they were getting numbers, I noticed the back window had condensation built up on the inside of the window, all the way across the windshield.  I showed it to the service manager and he said it definitely was not normal.      They told me they would look at that too when i brought the car back in.

I dropped the car off agai on January 31st, once the part was in and they had the car for a week.  I picked the car up today.   They were unable to replicate the condensation problem/leak on the back window so they said they didn't fix that.    It hasn't rained since then so I don't know if it was a fluke or not but I'm guessing not after all these problems.

So I sent a few more emails and texts to the salesperson at Dallas Lease Return but he never responded to any of them.  I sent the last one today telling him that I've given him plenty of opportunities to make this right and he never responded.    In the beginning,  I just wanted the leak fixed.  Now I'm concerned that when I try to sell the car.  I have absolutely no doubts that this care was wrecked or damaged and the car was repaired without it showing up on the carfax.

I feel that this company turns cars as quickly as possible through the internet and make the buying experience easy but they also do whatever they can to get rid of the car, and that includes selling cars that are damaged and concealing that information.  If they took pride in their product,  they would have respnded to me.  all I wanted was to be able to drive in a car without getting rained on.     The fact that it has been in for repairs, more than I've been able to drive it is unacceptable.
